This old fashioned peony-type poppy will be sure to add a touch of Victorian elegance to your garden. Huge 10-12 cm blooms are fully double with ruffled creamy coloured petals that are streaked with crimson, pink or maroon. The streaking becomes darker as the flowers mature. It makes gorgeous cut flowers for inside use. The blooms are followed by lovely seedpods that are also popular for dried flower arrangements. Plants have strong stems and will grow about 60-75cm in height with a spread of about 30 cm. Easy from seed, this is an annual variety that will reseed in most locations.
