Radinosiphon is a genus of flowering plants in the family Iridaceae. The genus name is derived from the Greek words radinosus, meaning "slender", and siphon, meaning "tube". It is a genus probably consisting of a single polymorphic species, or possibly 2–3 cryptic species, frequent in mountain areas, extending from Mpumalanga in South Africa and Swaziland to southern Tanzania. They are perennial herbs with corms that have slightly fibrous tunics. The aerial parts of the plants die back annually. Radinosiphon leptostachya is a South African indigenous species from the Mpumalanga Province. It was previously known as Lapeirousia leptostachya. It grows to 50cm tall with several narrow basal leaves. During summer it bears four to twelve pink to purple flowers per stem.
