Smart light bulbs are ideal for regular interrupted power.
If the light was on, it will stay on. If it was off, you can switch it on.

It has a 260mA battery and when it is fully charged can burn brightly for up to 4 hours. When using the light bulb for the first few times it may flash or flicker. It is not faulty. The battery is building up storage memory. Please use it and recharge the battery at least 3 or 4 times for the first 2 - 3 days. The bulb works best when used alone in one fitting, with one switch to control it. Having multiple bulbs/fittings on one switch will reduce the efficacy of the bulb.

Operating instructions:
- The bulb can be used as a normal household bulb and once it is installed it can be turned on/off using the light switch
- The internal Li-ion battery will be charged whenever the light is set to ON.
- During a power failure or load shedding the bulb will operate as an emergency light and stay lit, as long as the light switch is in the 'ON' mode.
