HQ Grade (High Quality): These golf balls are like new in appearance and will feel and play as a new ball being hit 1 to 4 shots. They all have one or another tiny imperfection that keeps them from being perfect / spotless. This grade is an awesome alternative to buying new balls as in 99% of cases you would not notice the difference between this grade and a new ball as they are close as can be. A-Grade : These balls have been played with for a few holes and still look fairly good. You will be happy with them as a high handicap or beginner golfer as there are no balls with big scuff marks within this grade. It really is a bargain grade!
