10 Years of Constitutional Democracy

The bid is for two items:

• First Day Cover Envelope & Stamps issued on 10 May 1994, the day when over 2000 million TV viewers worldwide across the world watched as President Nelson Mandela took his of Office at the Union Buildings in Pretoria. 
• R1 legal tender Silver Sterling in proof quality issued by the South African Mint in 2004 marking 10 years of a constitutional democracy in South Africa. The coin comes with a certificate of authenticity. A limited addition of 6000 were minted but few could be in the hands of collectors worldwide.
