These are really neat plants and look great in rock gardens. This delightful, early flowering perennial is ideal for borders or rock gardens. Five centimetres fully double button-type blooms in shades of red, white, rose, pink and cream literally cover the dwarf plants all summer long to frost. It is said that a tea made from this plant is employed as a gentle laxative; also for stomach and intestinal problems. It is also said to help the healing of inflamed swellings and burns. Easy to grow from seed, this hardy perennial (up to, -45°C), will flower in its first year from seed. Very dwarf and compact, this variety will only grow 12cm tall.
