This terrific variety of red cabbage grows a flattened globe-shaped head that weighs in at about 3kg. The Mammoth Red Rock Cabbage has been around since the 19th century and is one of the only open-pollinated varieties. Mammoth red rock grows slightly flattened heads, about 25cm in diameter. This cabbage is solid red, right down to the core! It is a delicious firm cabbage, and stores very well. Red cabbage can turn an ordinary meal into a work of art. It takes 90 days to reach maturity.
