Beautiful 39-inch (100 cm) HarborMaster Telescope. Ross, London. 50 mm Objective 36x Magnification. Mocca Leather Mount. |
The Most Beautiful Harbormaster. The Most Powerful 36x Harbormaster! Solid marine brass with Royal Matted Mocca English Leather Mount & 63" (160 cm) Teak Tripod |
This stunningly beautiful solid BRASS refractor telescope comes with a matching solid teakwood and brass tripod mount. The barrell of the telescope is mounted with matt mocca leather - hand-stitched. Almost all the brass harbourmasters being sold nowadays require some serious maintenance polishing to make them look presentable - but this stunner is completely maintenance free. The folding teakwood tripod with beautiful accents has a maximum height of 63". Its precision ground glass 6 lens optics (Russian) produce a clear 36X image enabling the Harbor Master to visually identify ships in stream outside the harbor hence the name 'Harbor Master Telescope'.The 50 mm objective affords an extraordinary field of view. There are very few telescopes this size that can match the Ross London's 36x magnification with its exceptional finishing and aesthetics. The instrument is 39" long (This is the real length. We do not put a sunshade and then call it 44" long), it has a lens cap to protect the objective lens and rotating mechanism at the eyepiece for focusing. It will look absolutely gorgeous looking out of your living room window, especially if you have a good view of nature or the city's concrete jungle. Please note that this is a terrestial telescope for maritime and land use and is not designed to make astronomical observations. |
