100% NATURAL BALTIC AMBER TEETHING NECKLACE
The length of this necklace including the screw clasp is approximately 34cm
Bead size varies from 7mm x 5mm to 10mm x 7mm, with a total weight of about 5 grams.
These necklaces are not made for the child to chew on (but it will do no harm if the child does chew on it by accident - this is why the beads are individually knotted. If per chance a bead is ingested, it will be safe as it is too small for the child to choke on and it is not harmful)!
The necklace must be worn around the neck (should be removed for sleeping) so that the heat from the body can warm up the Amber which releases the natural oils (succinic acid) in the beads. This oil is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream and is what eases the pain and discomfort - it is a natural antibiotic!
As with any item you give your child, care should be taken and this item must be used with caution and under supervision.
