About Salvia Divinorum
Salvia divinorum is endemic to the Sierra Madre Mountains in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is a member of the Sage family of herbs, yet is very unique and rare and is not the same as regular garden Sage. It is also referred to as 'Diviner's Sage'. This plant is treated with great respect by the Mazatec Indian Shamans who use it as a divinatory tool to open a gateway for clarity and awareness in both the natural and the unnatural world that surrounds them.
