ANTIQUE TURKISH COPPER AND BRASS COFFEE POT

BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE PIECE!

 

This is a handmade Turkish coffee pot.
We do not know the exact age, but have been told that it would have been manufactured in the late 19th to early 20th century so is estimated to be at least 90 years old.
We can however not guarantee this as we are not knowledgeable on the subject, so please study the images and judge for yourself.
We will glady answer any questions as best we can.

Height is about 35cm and it has a diameter of about 21cm at the widest part.
There are no markings that we can see.
It seems to have been waterproofed with a layer of some type of clay or ceramic.

The condition of the bottom shows signs of it having been used on an open fire and adds to the great character of the piece.
