A beautiful collection of world silver coins spanning over a century – the oldest date strangely NOT a tickey (3-pence), but actually a 4-penny minted in the first year of Queen Victoria’s reign in 1838 in sterling silver.
All the coins are tickey - sized or smaller with an average weight between one and two grams as struck.
The average silver content of the coins should be over 80% with many being Sterling Silver pieces (92.5% pure silver) like the Paul Kruger (ZAR) and GB Victorian sixpences.
You are bidding on the whole collection as per the following pictures (please be patient - there are many pictures that must load) ...
Six different commonwealth silver pieces from Victorian times (1840 - 1901)
Five different commonwealth silver pieces from the reign of King Edward VII (1902-1910)
Eight different commonwealth silver pieces from the reign of King George V (1911 -1936). Spot the date in the lower left corner!
Two Maundy silver pieces; the one a Victorian one-and-a half pence of 1839 and the other a Georgian one pence.
Three silver pieces from the Middle East and North Africa from the early part of the previous century.
Four silver pieces from Paul Kruger’s Zuid-Afrikaanche Republiek (ZAR) and Dutch origin (reigns of King Wilhelm III [1859] and Queen Wilhelmina [1897 and 1937])
