This is a new ironing board which has not been used before. The locking mechanism got removed when it was being shipped from the manufacturer. But the ironing board can function perfectly without the locking, it can be locked manually. The ironing board is also missing 2 rubber protectors on the legs which might cause it to be a little off balance.
