APPLICATION:1.Versatile usage in heating up water, such as RV's, boating, surfing, camping and even emergency Hypothermia treatment. Take a hot shower while tent camping or after surfing or scuba diving. Make emergency hot water for hypothermia or frost bite victims in the field.
2.These can be used to transfer waste vegetable oil into biodiesel, also for brewing and warming up liquids, etc
3.Perfect as a dump load for small wind turbines, it can be used to heat water in your water tank or hot water cylinder, also the same as to apply to solar panels.
4. Remember NEVER to heat your animals water with a high voltage. 48V DC is great for dogs, cats, horses, cattle to keeps water troughs and stock tanks from freezing in winter. By connecting one to a large 48v battery recharged by a large solar panel or wind turbine, just use a basic 5 degrees c normally open thermostat and when the water temperature gets near five degrees the heater will automatically come on and warm the water by a few degrees before switching off again, one could also be used in the water storage tank.
5.These have been helping thousands of concrete mixing trucks and concrete cutting saw business for a long time! Frozen water can put your crew out of business for the day! Use one or two elements depending on the size of the tank. DO NOT leave the tanks filled over night! Fill them with fresh water in the morning and then keep the heating element running in the tank all day long and your water will never freeze.
6.These can be wired directly to solar panels with a similar output to heat the water when the sun shines. It can be connected directly to a charge controllers 48v output but it would be better to get a cheap high ampage dc relay and power that by the controller and just use the relay as an inline switch between your battery ( bank )and the element, high ampage cable and fuses should always be used when dealing with this sort of current, a simple on/off thermostat can be attached to the top of your tank to switch the element off automatically when a certain temperature.
WARNING:1.Do NOT run the tanks day with the heating element on or it will burn up! You must always have them submerged in water at all times when they are powered up!
2.Do NOT use grid power as it will immediately destory the element.
3.If you are using 48 Volts water heating element, please use 48 Volt battery and vice versa.
