Great to carry with when you going camping and a must have for all cars incase you leave your lights on during the day when you at work and notice it during your lunch time while the sun is still out. Extremely easy to use, who needs a man around when you can be a rock star yourself :). The diagram below is just a picture of the origional box and also shows what else the solar panel needs to operate to give you an out-put of 220V :) or you can just use it to charge your car battery :)
Connect the panel to any 12V battery(NB) - inverter(NB) and save electricity, great for business that opperate's during the day or you can buyer an inverter and use it when you get home in the evenings. Lets save some money in these hard times and enjoy life abit more. This solar panel works in all weather conditions meaning that is completely waterproof as it comes with glass lamination and Amorphous solar panel. Also has a 6 feet cable to connect to the battery. Another most important feature is that it has a built-in blocking diode which protects the battery discharge at night.
This panel is +-32cm(L) X 49cm(B) X 1,4cm(T), great Aluminium frame around the solar panels to protect them as well as for easy instalation. Im not sure what is the watts rating but can tell you that if you leave the panel out in the sun and connect it to a deep cycle battery and inverter. It should allow you +- 5hrs of usage. Thats more than enough to watch a movie or use the lights or any other 220V appliance. If you use it at your own business during the day, it is always connected and will be converting all the time as long as you buy a battery controller so it does not overcharge. The above mentioned figures depends on what battery, inverter and how many panels you are using. I managed to perform an experiment myself.

Please note that my auction does not say anything about a kit, what you bidding for is just for the solar panel. I saw a kit starting from R9540 - R13890, can even go up to R20000. The solar panel is the most important because without it you cannot gather heat from the sun to convert into electricity :) Was speaking to a specialist engineer who deals with solar panels and says if you buy a really small solar panel worth R600 each, thats your normal 5cm(L) X 7cm(B) X 0.2(T) panels. You would have to connect 10/15 in paralell to reach an optimal out-put of 220V. Some digital camera's with one of these panels generally range from +-R1500 - R2000.
Shipping for this item will be R200 which will be overnight delivery.
