12V Water Pump with 2.4bar Pressure Switch (3.8L/min, 12V DC)

This 12V DC water pump is self-priming, includes an automatic pressure switch set at 2.4bar and only draws 3 amps. It is used in South Africa for small off-grid applications with an operating pressure below 3 bars, such as water supply for boats, overlanding, campers or caravans, portable gas geysers, drip irrigation systems and CBD indoor growing. When installed correctly, this pump provides years of quiet operation. Should your application require a maximum pressure higher than 2.4bar, we recommend you look into this high pressure 12V water pump. If you're looking for a 12V pump with a flow sufficient for an entire cottage, we recommend this high flow 12V water pump.

Instructions

• When using 10mm pipe, it is recommended to secure the inlet and outlet connections with small clamps or cable ties
• Before starting the pump, the outlet line must be open to prevent airlock
• The pressure switch will automatically shut off the pump when the outlet line is closed and the pressure has risen to 2.4bar
• The pressure switch will restart the pump when the outlet pressure drops
• The pump is designed to work with a 12V battery and/or a solar panel connected through a 12V solar charge controller
