This unit acts just like a UPS system. Simply plug in all the appliances you need to run during power cuts, into the inverter. Connect the 12V batteries and plug the unit into your wall socket. At times of power cut the inverter will automatically change over to the battery power giving you a constant supply of 220V ac power. When the main power comes back on, the inverter will automatically change back to mains power supply and will immediately begin to charge the batteries.
