15mm Air Diffuser Tube (comes in 4 meters)
This Air Diffuser Tube (15mm) is a high-quality, flexible aeration hose designed to deliver efficient oxygen transfer for ponds, fish tanks, aquaculture systems, wastewater treatment, and hydroponic applications. Made from a durable, non-clogging EPDM rubber with an embedded pore structure, this diffuser tube ensures long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.
Unlike traditional air stones that clog and wear out quickly, the air diffuser tube produces a consistent stream of fine bubbles along its entire length. These micro-bubbles maximize oxygenation, improve water circulation, and promote a healthier environment.
Key Features
Size: 15mm diameter
Material: Flexible EPDM rubber with embedded pores (non-clogging, UV and weather resistant)
Bubble Type: Produces fine bubbles for maximum oxygen transfer
Performance: High efficiency with low back pressure on air pumps
Easy to Install: Connects directly to standard air pump fittings
Versatile Use: Ideal for ponds, fish farms, koi tanks, aquaponics, hydroponics, Grey waters, wastewater treatment, and many more applications.
Always use a proper sized air pump to avoid over-pressurizing the tube.
Keep the diffuser clean by occasionally scrubbing and rinsing it in fresh water to remove any biofilm or debris.
Avoid bending the tube at sharp angles to prevent stress damage.
Store in a cool, dry place if not in use for long periods.
With the right care, your Air Diffuser Tube will provide years of efficient, reliable aeration for your water system.
Benefits
Enhances water quality and oxygen levels
Improves fish health and reduces stress
Keeps your plants roots healthy and aerated
Encourages beneficial bacteria growth for bio-filtration
Long-lasting and energy-efficient
Flexible can be shaped or looped to fit different setups
Cut the diffuser tube to your desired length and also cut your 15mm HDPE pipe to your desired length (for better air transportation)
Make segments of the air diffuser tube and the HDPE pipe then attach the first piece of 15mm HDPE to your air pump and make sure it runs all the way to your pond. Then Secure it with a stainless steel clamp to prevent air leaks.
Connect the fitting to your air pumps airline.
Place the other segments of the HDPE pipe and the air diffuser tube at the bottom of your pond or tank. (This tube is not self-weighted, you will need to be weigh it down, Avoid using anything that can rust, corrode, or release chemicals into the water (like regular steel, painted bricks, or treated wood). Always stick with stainless steel, ceramic, or pond-safe plastic materials.?
Tubing has a good oxygen transfer ( average 2.5% per 0.3m of water depth) with head loss of only about less 0.5 PSI.
To counteract buoyancy, hold downs or weights are required.
