2 x 16 mm film reels with celluloid film stock , vintage, metal reels are 31 cms diameter,  original,  condition: very good. 

One reel contains part of the film of  The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T.,  a 1953 American musical fantasy film about a boy who dreams himself into a fantasy world ruled by a diabolical piano teacher enslaving children to practice piano forever.

Theodor Seuss Geisel ( 1904 1991) was an American children's author and cartoonist. He is known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss  His work includes many of the most popular children's books of all time.

The second reel contains an episode of 'Secret File, USA' a 1955 serial featuring the character of William Thompson, an American intelligence agent, who goes on missions deep behind enemy lines to gather information about threats to American security and protect American diplomats abroad.

16 mm film is a historically popular and economical gauge of film. 16 mm refers to the width of the film (about 23 inch). It is generally used for non-theatrical film-making. It also existed as a popular amateur or home movie-making format for several decades. Eastman Kodak released the first 16 mm "outfit" in 1923, consisting of a camera, projector, tripod, screen and splicer.
