we are now offering high definitions CVBS (720p) / AHD (1080p) reversing cameras and this is one of them. You can simply alter between the two signals by cutting the Blue cable. Some models with CANBUS have voltage drops on the reverse bulb power (for bulb out warnings on the dash). In such cases, a relay would be required with the camera to boost the voltage. We have this available with part number KS104. The relay is not supplied with the camera and is sold separately.REPLACES THE NUMBER PLATE DIRECTLYThe original part number the camera is designed to replace is "1K8943021" and can be seen on the front of the original license plate lamp cover that houses the festoon bulb, as seen in the below picture.
