Georgian Coin Weight Dated 1772 19 mm across, 8,27 g (Brass)

  • This is a Museum piece as indicated in a letter dated 21st June 1937 by the South African Royal Mint.
  • The original letter is sold with the coin.
  • Coin weights were made to correspond to the weights of particular coin denominations, and the denomination in question was usually indicated in the design.
  • Condition as per the photos.
