The map is an original 1817 issue and NOT a reproduction.

It measures 236mm x 289mm in total

The map is printed black ink on heavy, thick unbleached paper. An older style copper plate engraving. No tears to speak of, except for some of the usual fraying along the top border where the original binding was held in place. The paper is still firm and responsive to handling. No fading, however there is considerable foxing and age related spotting of the paper. An Original 1817 Arrowsmith Map engraved by Sidney Hall and published by A Constable in Edinburgh.
