Canadian 1/2d Coin
In 1837, the Bank of Montreal received the right to issue a coinage due to a severe coin shortage. The coinage consisted of 1/2 Penny and 1 Penny Bank Tokens.
After Canadian Confederation, a proportion of the coins managed to reach circulation, but the majority of the coins were melted in 1873 under government supervision.
One of the first banks to receive a charter was the Montreal Bank. It would later change its name to the Bank of Montreal after receiving its charter in 1822
In an effort to impose order on the issuance of tokens (and purge the junk), three banks in Montreal, plus the Quebec bank issued a new series of tokens. Said tokens included the image of a habitant on one side and the coat of arms of Montreal, along with the bank name, on the other. These tokens were popularly known as Papineaus.
BMO (pronounced Bee-Moe) today is a major international bank with 1,100 branches across Canada and around the world.

No refunds will be forthcoming however a exchange for a similarly priced item may be negotiated if deemed appropriate(applicable inside the Republic of South Africa only), all shipping fees will be payable by the buyer. As soon as I hand the parcel over to the shipping company I consider it to be the responsibility of said company and the responsibility of the buyer to collect the parcel.

International shipments are weight dependent, so if a combined shipment of items breaches a weight threshold, a higher postage fee will be payable. An invoice will be sent after auction close. Every care is taken to ensure that the items arrive in the same condition they are dispatched in.
