Very Good Condition
The map is an original 1861 issue and NOT a reproduction.
It measures 490mm x 622mm in total
This is an engraved map with hand coloured borders and hydrography printed in blue with no clear fading visable, the paper is firm and crisp. There is some spotting occurring along the bottom corners, as well as some very minor water damage to the bottom left hand side(two faint lines just off the caost of africa). Original 1861 map of Africa from the Keith Johnston General Atlas publidhed in 1861 by William Blackwood and sons. .
