Fair Condition

The map is an original 1868 issue and NOT a reproduction.

It measures 533mm x 367mm in total

This is a Hand coloured map with little to no fading evident, the paper is mostly firm despite showing obvious wear. Original 1868s Weller map of the Cape Colony(aka Cape of good hope) published by Blackie and son. The Paper is thin and folded as originally issued. There is a 27mm tear at the bottom center fold. The map is folded at the center as issued, there is also some water damage evident around the edges. The back of the map is blank with several markings, or "doodles", in both pencil and ink as well as what appears to be a child's drawing of a Canadian Mountain Police officer. However none of these are at all visible on the front.
