1871 Enfield 3 band black powder musket flintlock/percussion

So here we have a very unusual black powder musket, what actually happened here was that sometime during the early life of this gun, somebody must have had a bad experience with it, this musket used to in fact be a Flintlock action, however maybe they could not obtain the flint stones or maybe they thought that with the flintlock stone the gun was not relaible enough, thus they turned the barrel and fitted a nipple in the place where the small hole used to be, they then fitted a gooseneck hammer cock and this then strikes the nipple where the primer cap is inserted over the nipple, the trigger as well as the hammer all are in a waorking condition, however if you were to use this musket, it would be recommended that you have it checked out by a gunsmith. You do not require a license to have this gun, but you would have to obtain a permit to transport and store the black powder to shoot it with, old black powder guns, muskets like this are very sought after by collectors and sometimes even by people who just wish to hang it above their fireplace or in their bar or pub and sometimes in their office or study at home, I have seen people hang them on the wall above the fireplace as well.
