The map is an original 1875 issue and NOT a reproduction.

It measures 315mm x 247mm in total

The map is printed on light semi-sheen paper, that remains crisp and very responsive to handling. The normal expected handling marks and age related couration of the paper is seen. Bottom left corner is dogeared and missing. A seldomly seen hand coloured and Original 1875 map by Adolph von Steinwehr from An Elementary Treatise on Physical Geography, which Steinwehr co-authored with D.M. Warren, published in Philadelphia by Cowperthwait.
