1890-1920 ANTIQUE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR MASONIC CEREMONIAL SWORD WITH SCABBARD

This is an antique genuine Knights Templar Masonic Ceremonial Sword. It was made by the E.A. Armstrong Co. of Chicago, Illinois during the period 1890 to 1920.This ornate sword has a nickel plated scabbard with various engravings and other adornments as seen in the photos. The scabbard is 31 inches long.The sword blade itself has a two tone blade of silver and gold and has many engravings. It is 30 inches long and 11 1/2 inches of the blade is not engraved. The engravings include the Masonic symbol of the compass and level as well as branches and leaves. Where the blade meets the cross guard, E.A. Armstrong has its name engraved in an ornate scroll work. The other side of the blade features the prior owner's name engraved onto the blade; Archie D. Kennel.The handle of the sword has a metal knight at top. The handle is black with a silver cross on one side. The cross guard has a Maltese cross and other designs.This is a fantastic find and one you will not see as ornate as this
