Obverse:
Portrait Details: Queen Victoria's Jubilee portrait shows significant and honest circulation wear. The fine hair strands above her forehead and behind her ear have flattened into smoother surfaces, though the primary shape of her profile remains strong.
The Crown & Veil: The details within the small crown (the crosses and pearls) are heavily flattened and lack crisp definition. The folds in the veil are visible but show distinct smoothing along the high points.
Legends & Rim: The lettering VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITT: REGINA F:D: is completely intact, sharp, and perfectly readable against the field. The beaded rim is fully present with minimal flatting.
Reverse:
Central Design: The large numeral 3 is bold and clear, showing only slight flatting on its centre curve.
The Crown: The crown above the numeral shows considerable wear on its arches and jewels, presenting mostly as a flat silhouette with lost finer internal details.
Wreath & Date: The oak wreath framing the design retains its general form, but individual leaf details and veins have smoothed down. The split date 18 90 is entirely legible and crisp.
