The base is marked with makers name. Not too sure if the bowl is the original bowl that belongs to the silverplated base because the bowl has some play once screwed in posably just needs a washer but it is a beautiful bowl.
PLEASE NOTE THE BOWL HAS 1 CHIP AS PER PICTURE. ALSO BECAUSE OF ITS AGE THE SILVERPLATE HAS WEAR TO IT. this item has not been cleaned.
