This original set of notarized legal papers features authentic ZEGELREGT (revenue) stamps, professionally handwritten content, and official red wax sealall preserved in incredible condition for their age.

Only a handful of these have survived intact over 130 years laterespecially with all pages, original signatures, and stamps present. This is an authentic archive-grade collector's item, ideal for museums, philatelists, or South African heritage collectors.

    • Signed at Ottos Hoop, May 29, 1891 by C.J. Fouché.
    • Details legal power of attorney over mining or land rights in the ZAR.
    • Features a rare 1 Shilling 6 Pence brown ZEGELREGT stamp, clearly postmarked and affixed.

  2. Legal Certificate Page (Witness Statement):

    • Continuation of the legal process, fully handwritten.
    • Stamped and signed.

  3. Authorisation Document (Marked A):

    • Dated 11 June 1891, confirming David Pieter Marais as verifier.
    • Includes a very scarce 5 Shillings olive-green ZEGELREGT stamp.

    • Dated 30 June 1891, Pretoria, signed by C.J. Joubert.
