1892 ZAR Single-Shaft Pond 

The key date and considered one of the true ZAR rarities with an extremely low and unknown mintage. 

This particular coin is a very presentable example with Good Fine to Very Fine details and an attractive yellow gold complexion.Contact marks and scratches are visible,typical for a coin of this grade.The coin may have been subject to a light mount,the rim appears to be fine  ,there is a discoloration around the star at 3 o clock on the reverse and some flattening  on the top part of the outer rim at that point, but there doesnt appear to be any obvious damage which conclusively shows that this coin  is an ex-mount.

Under close scrutiny the coin has flaws but in the hand it comes across as quite "normal" and really will make a good addition to a collection thats missing this rarity.I have taken photos at various angles to highlight and exaggerate both its good points and flaws.
