 Antique Glass Beer Stein Dated 1895

1/4 L Heavy, solid glass stein, with pewter and enamel lid. The pewter thumb lever is a stunningly detailed eagle with outstretched wings.

Embedded in the lid is a porcelain enameled Coat of Arms done in rich gold, red and brown colours. On the inside of the lid on enamel has German text dated (18)95. The enamel is cracked with no pieces missing.

This is a very appealing item, with a solid thick base. The base has signs of wear with chips and scratches. The pewter lid has a lovely aged patina
