1895 ZAR 6 Pence NGC Graded AU55-Superb details and lovely subtle obverse colours!!!

High grade for arguably the most desirable year of any of the ZAR 6 pence coins.Very rarely seen in this grade and examples that are   UNC or nearly UNC generally fetch very high prices.

Quite a lovely coin with great detail,medium to dark toning ,has been extremely difficult for me to properly photograph this coin because this particular example  can take on a completely different character depending on the lighting..

The obverse is particularly attractive with a light shade of red essentially surrounding Krugers portrait and a subtle layer of blue all around the inner rim,unfortunately I do not have the camera nor the photographic skills to capture this!

The reverse is a more conventional silvery grey complexion with strong details befitting the grade

.I have added a few  more photos of the obverse in an attempt to try capture the character of this coin,unfortunately the photos are interfered with by the light catching hairlines on the slab and the generally poor quality of the photos,but ive added these essentially to try convey a little bit of the character and colour of this coin.
