1896 Company Medal / QSA group - Rhod, RoM clasps

British South Africa Company Medal (Rhodesia 1896), no bar & QSA (Clasps - Rhodesia, ROM and TvL) medal group.

Officially engraved and named to (1896 medal) - Troopr R. Jurgeens (Bulawayo Field Force), QSA officially impressed and named to 446 Tpr R.T Jurgens (Rhodesia regiment).

See 1896 roll (see picture) this confirms the difference in surnames and both medals are correct and to the right man.

The QSA medal roll (see picture) confirms the three clasps and his name on the QSA. 

Rudolf Theodor Jurgens serves during the Boer War in E troop. He was born in Germany during 1872 and apparently had a farm in Riverside, Bulawayo. He was killed by a vehicle while cycling down Essexvale Road in Bulawayo.
