Obverse (Front): The portrait of Paul Kruger shows significant wear. The hair lines and beard details are largely smoothed out, and there are visible surface marks and "rim nicks" (small dents on the edge).

Reverse (Back): The wreath and lettering are clearer than the portrait, but the central "1" and "SHILLING" show flattened surfaces from circulation.

Estimated Grade: XF

• In South African terms, this is a "circulated" specimen. It lacks the "Extra Fine" (XF) details required for a premium price but remains a solid, honest piece of history.
