Description

Beautiful example of the 1897 ZAR 2½ Shillings, issued during the final years of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek before the Anglo-Boer War.
Made from sterling silver, this coin features the iconic ZAR coat of arms with the eagle, wagon, and motto Eendragt Maakt Magt.

A nice collector piece, especially considering the scarcity of high-grade examples.
