18ct Gold, Pearl and Gemstone "Butterfly" Enhancer Pendant

 

The vintage 18ct yellow gold pendant enhancer is in the shape of a butterfly and has a clip-on, fixed, bale. It is set with a pearl in the thorax (ringed to baroque; 11mm x 6.5mm circa 3ct; very light cream; excellent lustre; no detected blemishes). The wings of the butterfly are set with two carved purplish pink tourmalines (circa 6ct total); two trillion brilliant-cut purplish pink garnets (circa 0.80ct total); two trillion brilliant-cut green tourmalines (circa 0.5ct total); two pear brilliant-cut green tourmalines (circa 1.4ct total); two pear brilliant-cut citrine (circa 1.5ct total); and eight round and oval cabochon polished blue sapphires (circa 1.8ct total). There is a small round cabochon polished turquoise at the tip of the abdomen (circa 0.03ct). The enhancer is unmarked but has been electronically scanned and is confirmed to be 18ct yellow gold.
