ENGLISH VINTAGE 'SNOWFLAKE' DESIGN VINTAGE 18CT YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD RING
This detailed and intricate vintage piece of English jewellery, is crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold. It features a double-tier cluster of round cut diamonds set in white gold in a snowflake-like design, with interesting angles in the gold holding the gemstones, and openwork between the claws. The ring head measures 7,5 mm in diameter, and reaches 5 mm above the finger. The piece weighs a good 2,87 grams and bears the hallmarks for 18 ct gold, the London assay, the jeweller signature and the date mark for 1967. Considering that the ring is 54 years old, it is in beautiful vintage condition with barely any buff marks to report. I had the ring authenticated and evaluated by an independent jeweller. His "certificate for insurance purposes" will accompany the ring.
