A Permit issued during the Second Boer War on 28 January 1902 by the Resident Magistrate's Office, Colesberg.
"J.F. Baartman of Colesberg is permitted to purchase (1) One Bottle Brandy."
This permit is in excellent condition considering it is over a 100 years old! Another "signature" in pencil on front and some "hingemarks" on the back, please see scans.
