1906 Athens Olympic Games Bronze Participation Medal: From the 1906 Greece Olympic Games. The Medal measures 2 inches across and is 1/8 inch by Lytras struck by Pittner Vienna. Seated goddess Nike holding wreath over Phoenix arising from flames Acropolis in background. Reverse; wreath enclosing inscription. Note - as there was surplus medals not used in 1898, they were re-employed and used again in Athens (Rare).
