Thissugar bowl was manufactured directly after 1907 and is decorated in prominentgold trim with sky blue scroll patterns on the scalloped rim, while colourfulfloral bouquets are used on the sides on the inside as well as the outside ofthe bowl.

Thesugar bowl stands on a short pedestal base which is also decorated in goldtrim. Thebusiness was a partnership between Richard Hammersley Plant and his brotherSimon Lucas Plant, begun in Longton in 1898 at the Tuscan Works. They became alimited company in 1915. In 1966 the company was taken over by Wedgwood andrenamed Royal Tuscan but closed by Wedgwood in 2006. STAMPS OR MARKS: The bowl is stampedunderneath Tuscan China England. CONDITION:  This antique sugar bowl is in almost perfectcondition. SIZE: Height of rim: 7.5 cm, Diameterof base: 6 cm, Diameter of rim: 13.5 cm WEIGHT: 250 g
