You are looking at a fine example of a 1907 No1 Mk1 bayonet.

Issued to the Commonwealth Army’s throughout World War 1 and into World War 11 for use with the S.M.L.E .303 Rifle.

This bayonet is in very good condition, retaining most of its original finish. It is well marked with a Crown and ‘1907’ and what looks like ‘Wilkinson’ but as it has been stamped over is hard to read. On the reverse side is the ‘cross swords’ and various other arsenal markings.

The blade and scabbard are in very good condition and the grips have only slight wear. This is a classic example of the 1907 bayonet for the serious collector.
