RARE  - S.A. Police Issue WW2 1907 Pattern 303 Bayonet With Brown Leather Scabbard.

The bayonet and scabbard are equipped with high-quality steel fittings, including a pommel clearly stamped with "RSA" on the wooden grip and "SAP" on the opposite side of the functional release button.

Measuring 43 cm in length, the blade prominently features a "blood groove" along the center of each side.

Factory sharpening has been masterfully executed, with a precise cut tip that guarantees both functionality and top-tier quality.

This bayonet is paired with a standard leather and metal scabbard issued during World War I, reaching an overall length of 58 cm.

It stands as an exceptional example of a WWI bayonet specifically designed for the renowned Short Magazine LeeEnfield No. 1 Mk. III service rifle, which saw re-issue during World War II.

South African-issue bayonets are exceedingly rare, and this specimen is one of only a handful available.

The blade is in nearly pristine condition.
