An EXCELLENT example of a 1920s South African Railways & Harbours Brigade, Divisional Pith Helmet Flash .This piece appears to be in a VF/VF+ state of preservation , with detailed Graphic Design Relief on obverse and reverse. All insignia/ symbology present. Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on material surfaces. Item remains in a used , yet well-preserved state. Pressed Felt Flash insignia retains a good appearance , with a degree of surface toning / variable discoloration/ mild staining due to age & natural fibre composition. Piece displays good structural integrity with three individual Felt panels, all well integrated. Applied stitching & hem-lines present as intact. All Decorative elements are clear and defined with the distinctive Tri-Colour Divisional Insignia of the SA Railways & Harbours Brigade.
