The item on offer is a 1924 2Shillings(Florin) from the Union of South Africa,King GeorgeV series graded as AU58 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.Hern's Handbook of 2011 gives  the catalog value as R7500 for UNC and R3500 for EF.

Quality coins from this era are difficult to get hold off as it is well know that because they were still  80% silver and more than 90% of these coins were melted down at some stage or other.

This scarcity is also shown by the fact that only 10 1924 2 Shillings are graded better than AU58 and only 34 coins in total are graded by the NGC.In comparison 95 of the ZAR 1893 2 Shillings have been graded and this is considered a very scarce year.
