
I am offering on this auction this "Columbia Viva Tonal Grafonola" Portable Gramophone.
This gramophone is a Model 112A, and dates to 1928. It is serial no 1930.
It plays 78 RPM records.
This item is housed in a wooden hinged box covered in the Black leather, and has a 25 cm platter.
Its dimensions are 40.5 cm x 30 cm x 16.5 cm.
Cosmetically this item is Very Good with very little corrosion on the chromed parts.
The covering material is Very Good showing very little wear at the edges and corners.
The handle is Very Good.
The piano-hinge of the box is good.
The latches and winder are exposed and show corrosion but all work well. There are no keys.
Mechanically all functions appear to work properly. It winds up with the crank and the platter turns. The stop-lever stops it turning. The arm assembly appears normal.
This item has not been tested with a record and is sold as is.
