1930s Japanese Kutani Vase. Signed with the generic two-character Kutani mark from the 1930's: http://gotheborg.com/marks/kutani.shtml

A signed Kutani vase, painted in polychrome with, on the one side a central field of women gathering and carrying wheat with cherry blossoms in the background. On the other side we find beautifully dressed noble women strolling next to a lake.
