1930s Myford ML2 Antique treadle operated Lathe (with various parts and tools)

Myford Engineering Company was a British machine tool manufacturer based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire in theUnited Kingdom, and shipped out to the 'greater British empire', which included South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

This model was built from the early 1930s until, in 1941, instructions were received from the (war-time)Government's Machine Tool Control Rationalisation Board to stop sales, shipping and production because of World War II.
This ML2 model is very rare, and is of cast-iron construction.
