1932 Fibre Shilling
An interesting series struck primarily for use in schools to teach the scholars the use of money. All the pieces were struck onto a fibre material coloured to resemble bronze, silver or gold coins. The bronze and silver pieces were struck with the genuine dies and must have been produced at the Mint in Pretoria. A popular series amongst serious minded collectors and a must for the type collector. (Herns)
